This Vendor Policy outlines the standards, responsibilities, and operational expectations for all waste vendors, collectors, aggregators, and recycling factories (“Vendors”) registered on the RecyIndia platform.

RecyIndia is a digital marketplace designed to connect households, commercial establishments, institutions, waste vendors, and recycling units in a transparent and efficient manner. Vendors operating on the platform act as independent service providers and remain solely responsible for their business activities, service execution, pricing decisions, and regulatory compliance.

By registering and operating on RecyIndia, Vendors agree to comply with this Vendor Policy, the platform’s Terms & Conditions, and all applicable laws.

1. Scope of Vendor Services

RecyIndia enables Vendors to collect, trade, and transact recyclable waste from a wide range of sources, including but not limited to:

  • Households

  • Shops and commercial establishments

  • Hospitals and healthcare facilities

  • Temples and religious institutions

  • Educational institutes

  • Offices and residential societies

  • Other organizations

All such activities must be conducted strictly in accordance with applicable laws and RecyIndia platform policies.

2. Vendor Registration & Information Accuracy

Vendors are required to ensure that all information provided during registration — including business details, service areas, pricing, licenses, and contact information — is accurate, complete, and kept up to date.

Any false representation, misleading information, or misuse of the platform may result in:

  • Warnings

  • Temporary suspension

  • Permanent account removal

3. Vendor Responsibilities & Conduct

Vendors are expected to:

  • Maintain fair and transparent pricing

  • Communicate professionally and respectfully with users

  • Fulfill pickup, delivery, and transaction commitments within agreed timelines

  • Handle waste responsibly and ethically

  • Avoid harassment, discrimination, or unethical practices

Respectful behavior and responsible operations are essential to maintaining trust and reliability across the RecyIndia ecosystem.

4. Legal & Regulatory Compliance

All Vendors must strictly comply with applicable:

  • Environmental laws

  • Waste-management regulations

  • Safety and transportation rules

  • Municipal, state, and central government regulations

The handling, collection, or trading of prohibited, hazardous, biomedical, or illegal materials is not permitted unless explicitly authorized under applicable law.

Vendors are solely responsible for ensuring legal compliance in their operations.

5. Verification & Platform Oversight

To enhance platform credibility and user confidence, RecyIndia may conduct verification checks of vendor information and documentation.

However, such verification does not constitute an endorsement, warranty, or guarantee of:

  • Vendor services

  • Pricing

  • Quality

  • Conduct or outcomes

Vendors remain fully accountable for their actions and results.

6. Monitoring, Suspension & Termination

RecyIndia reserves the right to monitor vendor performance and take appropriate action — including issuing warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent account deactivation — in cases of:

  • Policy violations

  • Repeated user complaints

  • Misrepresentation or unethical practices

  • Legal or regulatory non-compliance

Such actions are taken to protect platform integrity and user trust.

7. Limitation of Liability

RecyIndia acts solely as a technology facilitator and does not guarantee:

  • Pickup volume

  • Earnings or profitability

  • Business growth

  • Service outcomes

RecyIndia shall not be liable for disputes, losses, damages, penalties, or legal issues arising from vendor operations or non-compliance.

8. Policy Updates

RecyIndia reserves the right to modify or update this Vendor Policy at any time to reflect changes in law, technology, or business practices.

Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
